ABOUT THIS MARKET

The Stonestown Farmers Market runs every Sunday year-round in the northwest corner of Stonestown Galleria's parking area, with the easiest entry via Winston Drive. It is operated by the Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM), and features many of the same certified farms that appear at AIM's other Bay Area markets, including Marin Civic Center and Clement Street. SF Weekly named it the Best Family-Oriented Farmers Market in San Francisco — the combination of free parking, adjacent mall, and a vendor mix calibrated to a neighborhood of families and long-term residents gives it a distinctive character.

West SF — the zip codes around Lake Merced, West Portal, and Forest Hills — has historically been underserved by farmers markets compared to the northeast quadrant of the city. Stonestown is the primary weekly fresh-food market for the entire western side of SF. AIM accepts CalFresh EBT, Market Match, and WIC at all its markets including this one.
